These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and web applications made available at labs.tiffzhang.com and related paths (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Tiff Zhang Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a collection of experimental and personal software projects (including music, art, and productivity tools). Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued at any time. Unless a specific app states otherwise, the Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Certain features may allow you to connect your account with third-party services (for example Google or Spotify). Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for data you choose to share with them.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
The Service, including its design, branding, software, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Unless an individual application clearly states otherwise, you do not receive ownership rights in any materials we provide. Output you generate within an app may be governed by additional terms or notices shown in that app.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
The Service is not professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tiff Zhang Labs and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for use of the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Most of Labs is offered without charge, so that amount is often zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where that applies, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse and hold harmless Tiff Zhang Labs from reasonable losses, including legal fees, that we incur if a third party makes a claim against us because of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
